Hey everyone,

I just got a computer for free and I'm trying to see if it is worth upgrading a little bit so that I can use it to watch hulu videos and surf the web. I'm having a hard time gathering information on it though but this is what I got so far...

The MB seems to be a D201GLY.
What I read on the MB is E210882, SiS 964L
BIOS: LY66210M
Processor: Intel Celeron CPU 215 @ 1.33Ghz :dead: (blah) is this soldered to the board? From what I've read it is not upgradeable...
RAM : 512 MB
Bus: 533 MHz

Operating System: XP (the home built, stripped down version, no crap)

Okay, so I know this has onboard video and the processor is crappy. But can I upgrade it enough to be able to watch online video without it pausing and jumping? It has one PCI bus that is free. What should I replace / add? I'm looking to watch 480 (and lower) quality video. Can I make this happen?

Thanks for any responses ahead of time!

Definately upgrade the RAM. You can have up to 4GB of DDR2 400 or 533mhz RAM. But the sticks can only be 1GB.

What CPU you could upgrade would be negligible. Sorry.

I'm not too sure on the video card.

Might want to try out Ubuntu or something on there. You'd get better performance on older parts as this.

Manual for your board: Documentation

Thank you for the response, but I think you have the wrong computer.

The computer I have has only 1 memory slot and maxes out at 1 gb.
