I would prefer a Seagate 7200.10 but I own a WD becuase it was 5 bucks cheaper at the time and i was on a VERY tight budget. They are both good and my WD gives me no problems but all in all seagate is a better name.
get whatevers cheaper at the time, their both about the same. I don't notice any noise from my WD, but then again i cna't hear anyhting over the fan on my GPU.
Both R good names you can get 1 with a 16 meg cache for about the same price as the 8 meg version this is quite a performance boost so whatever drive you get this would be more important than which brand you choose :nerd:
