B Bmo Solid State Member Messages 16 Jul 23, 2007 #1 A friend of mine has this problem: My wireless internet periodically turns on and off. My signal strength says excellent and I'm using a Netgear router. The internet is cable. We've tried resetting all the components but nothing. Any ideas?

blackjack Fully Optimized Messages 2,945 Jul 23, 2007 #2 Have you got your router high up and in the open, you don't want it hidden away as that might interfere with the signal, you could try going to the router makers website and download the latest firmware.
