Wireless Antenna.. Quick Question

Hello, i have a Wireless router with a standard antenna and im not really a Network person.. so what is better a 7dbi antenna or a 15dbi.. which one do you go for the higher numbers or lower numbers im not sure

The number simply represents the amount of dBi gain that you are going to get from the antenna. Typically, in home use a lot of things come into play....

A) Where the sender and receivers are in relation to each other
B) how much power input is going into the wireless device sending the signal
C) What antenna types are on the receiving end
etc

anyway, the 15 will provide a better or more broad signal and would be the wiser choice....but in a home it wouldn't matter too much. 15 is overkill, honestly....but in this case... "Over" doesn't "Kill" quality.
