So I'm looking to replace my old socket 939 and AGP based computer with a well, newer one. It's not going to be a power house and in fact I'm shooting for low energy consumption. My brother will mostly be using it for light image and video editing as well as playing media things, songs, movies etc.
I'm trying to keep it low cost but upgradable too and so far this is what I've come up with.
CPU: AMD Sempron 140 Sargas 2.7GHz 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM3 45W Single-Core Processor

Mobo has a few choices, but I want a southbridge chipset of a SB710 or SB750 because I can use that to unlock the second core on the Sempron. On a side note I'm way biased towards ASUS, I love their motherboards.

If I go for the DDR3 boards I'm thinkin this RAM would be nice.

Haven't dug into the PSU department yet but I'm considering this Rosewill 550W guy.

Case of course can be w/e and I'm not certain on what series Graphics card to go with yet. I just want to keep it in the 100 monies range.
I want to keep it cheap but I also want that upgrade-ability. I'm open to suggestions. My estimated cost is under 600 after tax and shipping.
