a year or two ago i told my dad i wanted a 180gb HD for xmas. he asks how much. ~$120, i think. he replied "i remember paying 500 for 5mb years ago"

Yes, that was an old fark photoshop. I remember seeing it done, and it was actually picked up by the news media and reported on awhile back, they (the media) we're quite embarassed to learn not only was it a photoshop, but a joke. Read the headline. It uses technology that has not yet been invented, nor will it be economically feasible. It was part of the joke. Goto fark.com and ask about it. Oh, and the original is a submarine.

yeeaahh I was pretty sure that was fake and I don't even remember where I found that...I just remember having that photo on my imagehosting but I don't know where it came from
