Hello,
Using Win 7 64bit, SoundBlaster x-fi Extreme Audio and the volume is increasing automatically on its own accord. I once had this problem which then randomly fixed itself, the issue has returned. I have disbaled on-board audio too.
I have Googled the issue, most results refering to Realtek as the issue. I had installed Realtek drivers a couple weeks back but I've uninstalled everything Realtek related and the issue still remains. It is no physical issue (speakers and headset volume control panel as I completely disconnected them from my computer and the issue remained).
Thanks for reading!
