Even though the E1705's are 64 bit capable, even running a 64 bit OS will not allow you to utilize all 4 GB of memory. The memory controller only allows 3.25 or something like that. You're best off buying 3 GB of RAM if you want to run Vista, and 2 GB for XP.
Alright, apparently the Windows DMI is what told the scan how much RAM my motherboard can support. Now, is that reliable information relevant specifically to my system, or just some Microsoft bs?
