Alright, this is the lowdown my friends

I dual boot ubuntu and Windows xp 64 bit

I have 1 250GB harddrive.

I already did fixmbr and i'm back to just windows but what i want to happen is to have windows have the 250 GB of space again. right now it only has 60 or something ridiculous like that. I'm new to this whole OS thing so if someone could give me detailed instructions, thank you so much

Start -> right click on My Computer -> Manage -> Disk Management -> select the Ubuntu partition and delete it.

Boot into the Ubuntu CD and go to System -> Administration -> GNOME Disk Editor (I think it's editor, might be manager or utility, I can't remember) -> Adjust the size of your Windows partition to however big you want it.

Done.

you're my hero
like no joke, i think you've helped me like a billion times

EDIT

alright, so this is the situation i'm in, i have the 64bit version of ubuntu and it doesn't allow me to run ubuntu without installing it. any idea?
