Ubuntu 12.04 Framerate Problem

Using ubuntu 12.04 i386 because Xibo (open source digital signage and content management) client only works on 12.04 and lower.

I believe i'm having a graphics driver issue because the same hardware runs the client fine on vista and vista is much more intensive. I would rather deploy these stations with ubuntu

I checked:

Many of intels previous graphics driver versions are crossed out though and the installer is for 14.04 which doesn't work on 12.04.
