Theres a reason i havent applied for stepup just yet. I have the option until around august 10th, and the GTX is doing ok. Waiting to see who wins before i decide on anything. Although i'll probably end up selling 1 of my 9800GTX's just because theres no way i'm going to stepup to SLI 280 at 650 a pop.

S-Video, 2 dual DVI slots with built-in HDMI, same as my card i believe, could be wrong. I will say this again, i will not upgrade because i will see hardly any performance gain from my card because of my CPU bottlenecking. I want to upgrade to 45nm Phenom first.

I would say smart choice, remember that the card you have at the moment is still a beast, so it can last you a bit longer.

A phenom is not going to help relieve the bottleneck much...unless you get one of those rare magic ones that do 3.4-3.5ghz (except I've not seen it done on air).

If you aren't going to make the switch to intel I would just hang on with what you have til 45nm AMD chips are released.
