Well, if another date gets planned, I'm up for cod5. It's coming out tomorrow. I don't know if I'll have it then or not. It'll deplete like all my money if I buy it. I'll get it somehow though.
I live in the US eastern timezone (GMT -5). I really can't play on a uk server. I have crappy wireless internet. My ping will be over 200 if I try it. Cod is way more demanding than battlefield. I used to be able to get down to 30 or 40 ping in 2142, but now I'm up at 80-90 usually, sometimes over 100.
I need to figure out whether I should move to powerline adapters or get someone to run a cat6 or cat5e cable in my house. I know the cat cables will have faster lan, but I don't know if it will make me internet any faster than the powerline adapters. Still, this should reduce my ping significantly, right?
