Hi, sometimes there is a stupid device witch u cant find a driver for ( laptops and desktops) such as bluetooth , fingerprint etc... And sometimes it is installed and functioning and stills appear yellow on device manger. I am looking for a way to simply remove this device permanently so my boss wont see it and gets mad lol somone can help? Op win 7

Easiest solution is just to right click and disable the device. This will keep it from trying to update. This is how I deal with the fingerprint readers on the laptops, since we don't use that feature and it requires an extra suite of software that I don't want to deal with.

Not sure why your boss would get mad at you, unless you're supposed to actually be installing the drivers for all devices.

Unless you physically remove/disconnect the device, Device Manager will show whether the device is removed or missing a driver.

Or you can look into the BIOS for the systems, and see if you can disable the devices that way.
