Remove Keywords From Google Index of My Site

When I look at google webmaster tools and see how may site is being indexed, I am getting high relevancy on an irrelevant word. My site is Twins Market, Baby and Toddler Gifts and T-Shirt Apparel for Twins, we sell t-shirts for twin boys and girls, the colors blue and pink in the description of the shirts is showing up high in my index.

Is there a way to have these words removed and would that allow google to put other key words higher on the list?

I don't believe removing it would allow you to improve results for other keywords. I think this is probably more a positive than a negative, it allows people to stumble on your site when they weren't looking for it.
