The latest game from the team that brought you Ridge Racer has released a new racer for the Xbox.
This game has all the visual beauty of the Ridge Racer series but breaks out of the mold by offering a more realistic race as well as a more developed story that takes you through the career of a rookie driver as she learns and runs the paces.
Gameplay is easy enough for anyone to pick up but offers enough challenge for even the most seasoned race game fanatic.
Control is very easy to get used to since the default settings have a tration and brake assist on that let you manuveur the track rather well, although takeing shortcuts and cutting corners won't help because these options are set to react reguardless of how you take the curves and corners of the track. Though the more experinced gamer will want to remove those options to get the feel of what the car can really do.
Sound is great with Dolby compatibility. The only drawback is there is no custom soundtrack option.
I give this game 7 out of 10.
