I would still get either the board that I posted or the one PcMe posted. Even if you dont want to OC very much, they are still great boards. If you have any problems with them you can check www.dfi-forums.com where some of DFIs tech guys will answer any questions you might have. You could also use a dual core even if it not listed (im using an opteron in mine).
ok i was just checking out monarch computers and i found this deal for a eVGA 7800gt with a evga motherboard that supports SLI and the X2. how do you think this mobo is for what i need, and does it have enough connections, etc?
i was just looking and i can get an opteron for about $30 less than an x2. this is the opteron 165, and its about 300 at monarch. is it better to switch to the opteron?
