Maybe change to this CPU. Canada Computers - CPU > Desktop AMD Processors : AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition (125W) Quad Core Socket AM2+ , 3.0GHz, 8Mb Cache, 1800MHz HT, 45nm (HDZ940XCGIBOX).

Use this thermal paste (Best I could find on that site). Better than AS5. Canada Computers - Cooling > Accessories : Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound.

As hussien19891 said you'll be better off using the egg

definitely stay away from any of the first gen phenoms, they we're a fluke for AMD.
with that said the x4 phenom II 940 (the ddr2 version) will go with your motherboard fine.

The Wired 360 controller was a thoughtful add on.

I bought a wireless adapter for my computer and the 360 controller is nice to have around.
