Hello there, well i have this mkv video file that i want to convert to either avi or wmv. What are some good "free" programs that can do this? which also keeps the quality as well.

Im trying to download it, but it slows down to like 1.7kb/s and completely stops afterwords. Ive tried downloading repeatedly like 4times but no luck. Are there any other download mirrors?

I'm using winavi video converter. It works fine, except that the free trial version will print a awful watermark on output screen.
