Not that I'm saying the Athlon XPs are incapable, but generally people build PCs to be more current which is the whole reason for upgrading/improvements. Athlon 64s are as current as the Katrina cleanup. If you need help in configuration, let us know and we'll put together a good system for you.

Are yes if you could do that for me please, i would be most greatful. Doing it on my won sort of thing is abit scary and i wouldnt want to buy things that cant go together! Thanks

Since you live in the UK, Newegg won't deliver there. I'm going to use Newegg for the parts list so you have to see what store carries these parts. Now, these are the core components of which might interest you. The other components I'm sure you will have no problem with configurations because they are so basic and standard (ie, floppy drives, DVD burners, hard drives-get SATA though, zip drives, etc):
