I just bought this monitor: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140206459805&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=004
And I'm selling this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=250215393595&ssPageName=STRK:MEBI:IT&ih=015
Now before anyone answers with "Why the hell did you buy a crappy CRT, LCDs are way better"
- Firstly, CRTs look good in a number of resolutions outside the monitors native res, this helps when trying to run a demanding game.
- Secondly, CRTs can reach refresh rates and contrast ratios that an LCD can only dream of.
- Thirdly, I can buy a new 21" CRT for the same price as I can sell my 17" LCD. Plus the CRT will give better image quality.
Pretty good deal I think.
