Here is a really great tip that you really need to do if you don't want to lose your home internet connection. Make sure that you are allowed to run a server on your current ISP and that you have a high enough Upload Speed.

I know Comcast and FiOS in the Philly area do not block incoming port 80. But I have heard of some ISP's blocking it. As far as bandwidth, a couple Mbs/sec should be fine provided you're not downloading big files. Displaying webpages with pictures wont take much bandwidth.
