Hello, I am about to swap hard-drives in my laptop tonight because my current one needs to be exchanged for the right order. But, I have a good amount of data, files, drivers and updates already, all of which I do not want to have to replace again (recently had to reformat).
My question is, can I use a program to create an image backup of my current drive and restore the image onto the new drive, right? If so, do you have any recommendations for a software of choice?
If this cannot be done, are there any other options? My primary concern is I don't want to have to re-download drivers, because I need my laptop ready for tomorrow's class, and I won't have time to go to someone's house to use a wired connection (I have no net).
Thanks a lot!
