Honestly I don't mind them if they are there for a school assignment or they are actually out to prove some thing.
But when they are on just about plain old crap just because the nut behind the keyboard is feeling bored and feels the need to create poll just for the $#!+s'n'giggles of it, then it I do find it unnessary.
