The Sandstorm has returned! The long anticipated Desert Conflict Mod for BF2 brings the classic feel of Desert Combat to the BF2 engine with its Alpha release.

You loved Desert Combat and longed for it to return within BF2. Done.
You wanted skill to be a factor in BF2. Done.
You wanted dumbfire missles for aircraft, handheld aa & ground based aa. Done.
You wanted familiar vehicles. Done (and still adding more)
You wanted Capture The Flag. Done
You wanted the classic maps. Done
You wanted Artillery brought back to the player. Done.

You wanted to play it. DONE!

This mod is killer, and there are actually servers up for it.

Taking out a chopper with a single shoulder fired rocket? Booyah!

i hate when it takes 2 or even three just to take out a helicopter with the at rocket. this will bring some more realism to the game.

I got to play that project reality mod also. Never got around to playing that.

Well i downloaded it but everytime i click multiplay it crashes. Any ideas?

Not sure. I'm usually picking off choppers or dieing.

If it's anything like the DC .3 for BF1942, you utilize the scuds like artillery, really really big devastating artillery. A scout will need to call in coordinates and keep his glasses trained on the target. I loved that mod, it was awesome. teh apache was the best.
