Computer won't connect to wireless or ethernet

Hello everyone. I have an Asus G73 gaming laptop. I just came home from college for Christmas break and found I can't connect to the wireless. My computer connected to my college's wireless with no problem. I think it is something with my computer because my parents computers and my ipod connect to the wireless and ethernet just fine. I know my parents got a new router recently. Before this router my computer connected with no problems. I have tried to connect it to both wireless and ethernet. Both of the connection types show up, but it won't connect. If there is more information you need to help solve this problem just let me know. Thanks!

Sounds like a new password was created with the new router.

The only reason i can think that wired doesn't work is because they have MAC filtering enabled or they have only allowed a few IP leases from DHCP, so you can't get an IP address.
