Well, For him you also need a gpu. I would get a cheap on now and buy a better one when direct x 10 cards come out. You shouldn't spend more than 125 on a card. If you can get 2 gb of ram. It will be faster but if you can't afford it it will be ok. Just upgrade later. Make sure it is crosshair for overclocking. I would also get a better heatsink for overclocking.
