They should do what ever they did at the LHC to get to 2 degrees above absolute zero on those chips...

they got to 517K, the 272 was in C so not really close to aboslute zero, unless Im reading your post wrong.

Erm heard something on discovery channel that they was with in two degrees C of being at absolute zero. Dunno though honestly.

Absolute Zero is -273.15 Celsius
Which is only theoretical because nothing has ever achieved that...to my knowledge anyway.
Something with Lasers have come quite, quite close though, and some Boomerang? space system hovers around the 1 Kalvin mark.

I thought I saw the helium in the video @ -230 Celsius?

wouldnt the chip be around 60-70C hot? which would mean if the chip wasnt there it would be around 5 degrees from absolute zero, correct me if im wrong.
