$1.1 Million Truckload Of PS3 Games Stolen

It is bad enough to have a truckload of PS3 games stolen in the first place but it is downright humiliating to have that very same truck full of games recovered by the police…and then stolen again. The bandits made off with $1.1 million in games. The bright side is that eBay will be flooded with cheap PS3 games soon.

The original theft occurred in Northampton as the truck's driver "rested." After the games were shifted to another truck, cops noticed the vehicle's fake plates and recaptured the games, driving them to a not-so-secure police depot. Crooks then broke into the depot, driving the truck off before it could be checked for fingerprints or DNA.

dude... its an 18 wheeler... there's tons of room in there... plenty enough room to fit that many ps3 games...

and wtf is with that equation..... why are you dividing... each game is 60 dollars, and if there are 1.1million games on that truck then its 60.6million dollars worth of games...

Guys the PS3 game boxes are not that big. You can fit 18K games in a smaller truck. There is only 3-5 games per box and the boxes are only as big as the game cases stacked on top of each other. It isnt like they were PS3's it was just games.

That was the truck in queston. My guess is that it was going to a warehouse for a major retailer like WalMart. WalMart ships it stuff from a Distrobution center to each store. It doesnt go from teh PS factory to the stores. So that is why the truck could be stolen like it was. Just a bit of inside info from some one who recieved these things for a living at WalMart overnight for about 5 years.
