    4,1 sound on m15x?

I recently bought this 4.1 system: Newegg.com - LOGISYS Computer SP8000BK 4.1 Speakers I can't seem to get the speakers to fully function. The subwoofer does nothing, but I can get the 4 satellite speakers play audio. I've tried a quadraphonic setup and a 5.1 system with the center speaker...

    Replacing Dell PSU

My dad's Dell Dimension 5150's PSU has friend and I need to replace it. It has a 305W PSU but I hear that Dell uses non-standard parts in its computers. Can I just use any power supply from Newegg to replace the current one or is there something special I should be looking out for? Thanks.

    Smart Purchase?

Does anyone know if the M15x comes with a GDDR3 or GDDR5 version of the 5850? I've heard the with the GDDR3 the memory bus is a huge bottleneck and want to know if my laptop has one.

    Smart Purchase?

250gb is more than enough for me, I also have an external drive for more storage. If anyone else wants a similar deal, I purchased the laptop using the following coupon for 15% off: X6GQDFV7LF5?1F I believe it will work on anything from the Dell Outlet, but I'm not sure.

    First Build

This is just my two cents, but the 1055t isn't really the greatest processor for gaming. It really only ties the X4 965 on most games, sometimes performs better, and sometimes its actually worse. However, the 920 will always (and by quite a large margin) outperform the 1055t and 965. Also, a...

Looking to build rig for heavy gaming. Where to start?

The antec 900/1200 or Cooler Master HAF would be your best bet. If you want a mid tower, then get a Antec 300 (Or just pick whatever looks coolest, we aren't the ones that have to stare at it). Since your overclocking, you will need a heatsink. Here's slaymate's recommendations:

    800-950 To spend

This probably belongs in the high end building section, as you can get an i5/5850 for this amount of money

    ATI 5850

You may be bottlenecking your GPU with you CPU. Meaning that you have a really nice graphics card, but the processor simply can't keep up. also, 4gb should be enough memory for gaming.

    Which AV?

'Nuff said. Seriously though, I've had Norton Anti-virus since 2003 and can honestly say it's a really good anti-virus. I've never had any problems that I couldn't fix on my own through Norton and Google.

    $850 Rig

Alright, I'm going to buy these parts either tonight or tomorrow, so can someone tell me if the MSI board I picked is any good? I don't know too much about motherboards and I only picked it because its from a reliable brand and its pretty cheap. And again, do you think I could OC the processor...
