hey i got an alienware laptop 2 gigs ram 7800 GO with turion 64 bit CPU, and i get these fps spikes when i use any application that uses my GPU (games, movies..etc..) it hapens about every 10 seconds, and it gets really choppy for about 5 seconds.then its normal...i have reason to suspect it to...

ok i have a feeling this is caused by a heating issue because i am now using dual screen set up and i dont get NEARLY as many FPS spikes....is there anything i can do to maintain this temp on my laptop without having to use a second monitor?

fps drops every now and then...and when i start my computer up for the first time in a few hours....its fine for about 5 mins then it starts to drop in fps every 20 seconds or so

well the 2nd time i ran memtest it didnt restart my computer and it said no errors....how do i cool down my GPU?

gfx is running at 72 C....and i restorted to optimal settings and its still happening...if there was a problem with my ram would it for sure come up on memtest?

ran memtest to 307% with 0 errors....gonna try the bios thing right now

hmmm....that seems to be the best diagnosis atm....ill try to run memtest again and see if i can see the results this time without my computer restarting >_> oh and my friend pointed out today that my computer siezes up while doing other things on the computer besides games....but it is a lot...
