Pretty comfortable. Been doing tedious stuff since I was a kid. ie taking things apart and putting back together. It should be ok. Removing the fan is probably gonna be the hardest part. If the shit does hit the fan I still have my warranty on the 1525. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.

Hmmmm, you sure? The T6420 isn't that old. :( It's plugged in 95% of the time at home, so battery life isn't an issue. Wouldn't a high quality laptop cooling pad solve the heat issue?

What if I got a note book cooler? Im not worried about batter life since its on my desk at home 95% of the time.

I recently purchased a Dell inspiron 1525,and I was looking to upgrage to cpu. It already has 3gigs of RAM and I'm looking for a little bit more speed for gaming. I know this laptop probably wasn't the smartest choice for gaming but Im trying to work with what I got. So here's my question...
