I would def go with the 6, unless you watch a lot of TV on your phone. Its much more natural to hold, IMO.

For me, the 6 Plus is a little large, but I get if you are doing a lot of traveling it is nice to have the bigger screen to watch video or do work from in a pinch. Sounds like a good choice for you!
