Thanks everyone! I actually already bought one stick of 512mb so I could expand into the other dimm and get 1GB if I ever felt the need. I started worrying that I was crippling myself by not starting with 2 DIMMS in DDR, but it sounds like the consensous is I wouldn't see that much difference...

As a non-gamer, would I notice much difference between a 1 GB stick of memory vs. 2x512 MB in DDR? I will mostly be surfing the web, emailing , light photo editing and mp3 playing with this computer. Thanks!
