I would suggest you get a better SSD, in my opinion, stay right away from Samsung. They make really low quality computer parts and you could defiantly pay a tad more for a better quality one.

Although the HP is probably the best, ASUS is way more reliable then HP and does not come with a stupid bios that fills up 1/4 of your hard drive with stuff you will never use.

He can simply just replace the hard drive and it should be normal as long as you still have your OS cd's. Unless the BIOS has been infected, a new hard drive should fix it.
