Depending on what AV out you previously used, the PS3 may well not be outputting to HDMI at all, in which case you need to reset to basic output whereby it outputs on which one it detects has a cable in. Then you can up the res etc once it has booted up, I believe you do this by turning it on...

I would say vacuuming is more productive than blasting it in further. On something enclosed like a PS3 anyway, use the hose and a plastic extension to just lightly suck away over the vents. On the real note of the thread, if it is excessive noise then you probably should be vaguely concerned...

Ah, maybe that's the problem, it's the max res, but the file size is too big. It appeared on the site, so I assumed it would work. Does it need to be under that size to appear as your sig?

Interesting idea. I use a combo of mighty mouse and the trackpad on my MBP. They both have their easier times. I don't know whether I'd bother upgrading unless it was extremely more useable, I can't see a huge benefit over the current mouse, which does all I'd want a mouse to do...!? ;-) Charlie -
