What G card?

Hello all,

Quick question... my boss wants a new G card for his computer, he currentlly has a Gefore 4 MX440 64 meg.

He was going to grab an ATI 9200 128 meg for very little cash but I said that this card would give little performance over what he already have..... I suggested the 9600 128..

Now we are looking around the web and they are selling ATI 9550 and Nvidia 5500 cards ... which type is typically better ?

Wow, I work at office depot and we sell 9200SEs for $90.

Lead him in the direction of the 6600 GT if he is willing to spend a little bit.

No no lads anything over the 9600 is too expensive.

So its either one of the early 9000 ranges (9200, 9600 or 9550) or one of the equivilant Nvidia products... I dont know much about the equivilant ATi to Nvidia

Get him a 9600 Pro

I have a 9600XT and it's pretty good. I think that'd be best for him.
