Cleaning my Laptop

How would I go about cleaning the fan on my laptop? I was told I could use compressed air to clean it out, but w/o spending money is there another way of doing it?

I need it cleaned because the laptop overheats when im playing games btw.

Eh, have you tried blowing real hard?

Really! Blow as hard as you can through a straw and it will direct and compress the air a bit and should work better.

Just be careful not to pass-out.

It should work to a point and get rid of most of the dust. It make take a few rounds depending on the enclosure.

lol I'll try... there's probably a lot of dog hair in there cause m dog sheds like crAZY... hopefully i can get it all out. Thanks.

Can' O air doesn't cost too much. What cost more a replaced Laptop or a can of air?:amazed:

very true, compressed air in a can costs about $3.00 at any office store. Just be careful to hold it upright, otherwise it will spray liquid coolant in your machine.
