Brand new problem. Today, tried to watch videos on YouTube. Didn't work. I pick the video and everything looks likes its going to work. I see everything else on the YouTube screen. However, the video itself is simply black and no audio. Nothing. It doesn't show its loading. Doesn't show error message. Nothing. The box for the video is black. Same thing happens in every video. No video or audio at all.
Tried it in Chrome. Doesn't work. Tried it in IE. It DOES work. IE works for YouTube.
Here's what I tried so far:
- Ran Firefox in Safe Mode, still doesn't work
- Disable Kaspersky, doesn't work
- Restart computer, doesn't work
- Reinstall Flash player, doesn't work
- System Restore to 5 days ago...when it definitely worked, doesn't work
- Tried videos on DailyMotion.com on Firefox, that DOES work
I have not downloaded new programs that I know about. No new extensions in Firefox or Chrome. I'm at a loss......
Anyone?
I'm at a complete loss. Any help?
UPDATE: It's working. I used CCleaner to clean up system and now YouTube is working in Firefox. That was strange. Works in Chrome too.
