Wired can but wireless cannot connect to internet on wireless broadband router

Also forgot to mention, make sure you check your wireless NIC advanced tab in device manager.

WEP is disabled and SSID broadcast is enabled, but still cannot see the home wireless network.

Is using mixed mode meaning 802.11b/802.11g together ok on wireless router?

yes... 802.11b & 802.11g SHOULD be compatible together.... they both operate at 2.4 GHz.... 802.11a operates at 5 GHz...

If your router is 802.11b, and your USB is 802.11g, it SHOULD still work, but at 11 MBps rather than the 54 MBps that 802.11g is rated for...
