This may seem like a very "noobish" problem but im having a problem with my laptop going into standby for no reason.
I have checked all my power settings and there are no options for turning off standby. The times that it will randomly standby are inconsistant. Sometimes it will go into standby within five minutes and other times it will go 2 hours without use and not go into standby.
I'm bridging my connection from my laptop to my xbox in order to connect to xbox live. That is why this is a very annoying problem for it will randomly disconnect me from xbox live because my laptop will go into standby. I know the problem isn't from a sleep button for i turned off that feature and im not using my computer when it happens.
Basically I want to know how to turn off the standby feature completely. I cannot use the power options built in windows for im using Toshiba Power Manager and I do not plan on changing but will if it is the only way.
