Hi guys,

My newly built pc gives me a blue screen of death and reboots 2-3 times per week. The following details are the error I'm getting -

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b (0x00000000c0000005, 0xfffff960000d4377, 0xfffff8800594a030, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 030814-8814-01.

param1 0x0000003b (0x00000000c0000005, 0xfffff960000d4377, 0xfffff8800594a030, 0x0000000000000000)
param2 C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP
param3 030814-8814-01

Hoping this is enough info and would appreciate any help.

Thanks

Bug Check 0x3B: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (Windows Debuggers)

Try updating your graphics driver, first of all. Get it directly from the manufacturer's website (nVidia, AMD, or Intel).

You can also upload the dump file(s) generated by copying them from C:\Windows\Minidump and zipping them up, then uploading them to a filesharing site and posting it here so they can be analyzed.

Thanks for your quick response.

I had the latest drivers from AMD originally so I decided to go to the Gigabyte website and download the recommended drivers, turns out it pointed me back to the AMD website with earlier drivers which I have now installed.

Only got 1 blue screen last nite and here is the dmp file.

It's another 0x3B SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (supposedly related to graphics drivers).

What are your complete system specs?

You mention newly built PC..... Does the case have sufficient cooling? If the GPU on your graphics card gets too hot, it might throw Windows into a BSOD. Does it need a secondary power connection directly from the power supply, and if so, is it connected?

Monitor the temperature of your GPU. Try GPUtemp from here: GPU Temp
