Update your BIOS or turn off ACHI and use IDE Mode or standard mode.

Do you have any external drives (USB or eSATA)?
Some computers (in spite of the BIOS set to boot off internal drives 1st) will sometimes try to boot off external drives. If hitting reset always fixes it, then you have a timing/sequence issue with enumeration and BIOS where it sees external drives 1st, and tries to boot before the internal drives are fully enumerated.
Like Mak213 said, a BIOS update might fix this.

dont have any external HD's... where do i go to update my bios? sounds kinda risky to do that no?

You have to go to either the PC manufacturer's website or the mother boards website in order to get the BIOS update. It is a far simpler process now than it was years ago. Almost all companies have a tool that can do it within Windows or give specific instructions on how to do it otherwise.
