Windows 7 g50vt webcam installation error?

After a hard search for the Camera model, I found it to be a Chicony Sonix260 CNF7246. I tried installing the driver (v061.005.200.270) after downloading it from the ASUS Support Site, but it gave me a Window popup with the title "Error" and message of "USB2.0 UVC VGA/1.3M/2.0M WebCam". I tried another driver, version 061.005.200.300 (also for Chicony Webcam), but the picture turned out to be inverted. I cannot find a fix for this in AMCap or anywhere else.

I've even tried to install the driver from the Drivers CD but it gave me an error saying "Install failed. USB2.0 UVC VGA/1.3M/2.0M WebCam"

Are you using the 64 Bit version of Windows 7? If so you will need the 64 Bit version of the driver.
