Windows 10 Photo Viewer

Not sure if anybody else has this issue, but I prefer using Windows Photo Viewer to view pictures instead of the Metro app. Well, wasn't working for me, so if anybody wants a fix I found one.

Make a reg file and put this in it.

This will make all JPEG files viewable in Photo Viewer. If you want to make other types work as well just replace "jpegfile" in the code with "pngfile", "giffile", "Paint.Picture" (Paint.Picture is the .bmp type).

Honestly I don't mind the Metro photo viewer. I didn't think I'd like it at first..but hell, it has GIF support again! All I ever used it for was browsing pics on my drive, and then it was just using the left/right keys 90% of the time to browse through 'em.

In my case, when I click Photos in the start menu it doesn't even come up for me. So even if I wanted to use it I can't. In 8 it was full screen and I didn't like that, so I've always stuck with photo viewer.

Tried photo viewer...didn't like as much as Irfanview, but I've been using that for a long time so I suppose I'm used to using that all the time
