will it work ??? my dad told me some XP wont work on some computers. He said some computers need the x64 xp or something. Does that one need the x64 or can i get that one that just is the OEM?

also what is OEM? is that a ture XP software right there?

yeah it will work fine. x64 is referring to 64 bit os. and it is usually used when the computer has more then 3gb ram. and OEM is just a single copy for a single user/single machine, and its true software.

Okay i could not access the XP Link. Said it was a 404 access denied. But to answer the question you will be just fine with a 32 Bit OEM of XP. You only have 1GB of RAM in that machine and 64 Bit is only really useful when you run 4GB or more. thank you so much i just needed to know that cause well if you look its only 90 bucks thats cheep heh. It says it coming with sp2 also so thats good i think lol. Im not a software buyer here lol as you can tell.

It is a bit of a outdated disc. Since SP2c was the last version before SP3 hit. But it will work just fine.

i've heard/seen bad things come about from sp3 though. probably fixed about 10 computers due to SP3 issues at work...

The biggest i have seen is due to the fact people do not disable the 3rd party av and firewall. Other than that it has been nothing but success.

Ok i was reading that OEM comes pre installed on compuers??? what about the software than? im kinda cufused here. The comptuer he bought does not come with xp or any OS so if i buy that one XP i showed you it should work right? it should loud onto the comptuer with no porblem?
