Well I might overclock if I need a performance boost in the future and I think I might get this for 37 bucks extra (It would be only 10 but rebate expires today and I don't have the $$ right now.)

Is SATA with 8MB cache faster then ATA150 with 16MB cache?

they are both sata. the first one just says serial ata which is sata lol

i heard some ppl say the 16MB cache is better...but its maxtor. and i dont trust maxtor. but if you trust maxtor you should get the maxtor one. im not sure about sata2 seems like a lot of ppl dont like that WD one.

Wow, I looked at all the 7200RPM 16MB and only the 200+GB have it, and most of them are Maxtor, I saw a WD but it's like 30 extra bucks. What about this:

thats sata2 i belive, and sata2 is backwarsd compatible with sata150 so it has to work with your mobo lol
