Why does This Happen

When i Open My CD tray or Remove a USB drive on my Desktop loaded with windows XP prof. SP2, the wireless internet cuts out.

Not a big deal seeing that i dont open the cd tray or remove usb drives that often, im just curious why this is happening.

Heh, electrical interference of some sort? Like short somewhere?
Is this a onboard wireless or PCI card? Check all your power hookups?
