which OS to use

my windows XP pro has corrupted so i need to reinstall, trouble is i dont have access to the same version again (legit version) my university have teamed up with microsft and offers a free version of various microsoft products so im not sure which to install. I will be using the computer for general use, internet, some games, watching/recording tv etc etc. I have recently started a job as an ict technician dealing with small business server 2003, so i, considering the server OSs aswel as i could do with some practice at them. Options are above.

Can you use XP 32bit? I would say that or Vista 64 bit in case you get more ram down the line.
