where do u put crysis configs?

hi, just wondering what folder do i put crysis configs i downloaded?

just in there, not in the config folder or anything?

Depends on the config you dowloaded. My autoexec.cfg goes there, but my modified Cvar Groups folder goes in the Config folder.

It should have come with a readme.....

ok, its an autoexec.cfg, thanks ill put it there. i need a new cpu soo bad dude. my 8800GT SC is bottlenecked SO bad. need a q6600

amd 64bit 3200+ (OCd to 2.1ghz lol) its single core. everyone is telling my my fps would double with a q6600 cuz my 3200 is bottlenecking my 8800gt SC

Most config files don't increase your FPS, they only make the graphics look better. So your FPS would probably decrease unless they explicitely state otherwise..

A lot of them can help with FPS. Especially if they disable god rays, motion blur, depth of field, etc.
