I know they're not all that great but I'm slowly trying to build a computer that I'll be able to blow out the OS and install whatever I need for school/studying for certifications without having to mess with my main rig all the time. I plan to buy good deals from Newegg over the span of a month or two to save money.

It isn't too bad. It runs BF3 @1080 on high settings, AA turned down, smoothly. I might spring for the model with a 670m though.

Weight, battery life, and going by the other G7x models I have seen screen quality.

I have never really seen the use for a laptop that isn't good at being portable.
